FUE Hair Transplantation

FUE hair transplantation is a modern method of restoring hair that can restore density in areas of hair loss and create a natural hairline. The procedure uses the patient’s own hair, usually from the back of the head, where it is most resistant to hair loss. It is performed without a traditional operation involving long incisions and stitches.

Unlike traditional methods, FUE involves extracting hair follicles individually using a special micro-instrument. This helps preserve the surrounding tissue and avoids a long, linear scar in the donor area. Small pinpoint marks remain at the extraction sites and usually become barely noticeable after healing.

Each extracted follicular unit can contain one or more hairs. After extraction, these units are carefully checked and prepared for transplantation. Planning takes into account the density, growth direction and characteristics of the patient’s hair. This is particularly important when restoring the front hairline, where the result should look as natural as possible.

The prepared follicles are transplanted into the area of hair loss using a special instrument called an implanter. It works like a fine needle and allows the hairs to be placed without first creating channels with a scalpel. The doctor controls the depth, angle and direction of each transplanted hair to achieve natural growth and a balanced distribution of density. After transplantation, the follicles gradually become established, and new hair begins to grow over the following months.
